Some highlights?
Kate and Laura Mulleavy, who got their start in their parents' guest house in Pasadena only four years ago, won womenswear designer of the year. Their line is described as "horror-film-meets-haute-couture." The sisters are self-taught and found success with the help of actresses like Kirsten Dunst. Menswear designer of the year went to Italo Zucchelli for Calvin Klein and Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders'.
Jack Mccollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler were winners of the accessory designer of the year award.
Justin Giunta and Tim Hamilton picked up the Swarovski awards and Marc Jacobs won the international award for his Louis Vuitton work.
All winners are picked by the CFDA'S 100+ members.
The 28th annual show was hosted by Tracey Ullman and featured Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon, Jack White and Blake Lively.
